Dershowitz usually has a pretty good take on things, but on this one I think he's off the mark. Naturally, the ‘Rats will whine and scream and try their usual dirty tracks and frame-ups, but that's old news. The fact that Trump did business with Russian clients as a private citizen before he became President should not generate any political baggage. Cripes, you've got the Clintons selling uranium to Russia while they were still holding offices at various levels.

When Dershowitz gets the bit in his mouth he starts arguing like he’s a combination defense attorney slash PR-Consultant. He’s basically framing the worst-case scenario so that when the real report comes out, it’ll be a yawner. And “D” will then say he predicted that all along.

All he says is that there won’t be criminal charges. Other than that he gives us no clue. I think he just needed to do some writing per his contract with his employer.

Dershowitz is excellent and fair on kegal matters and Constitutional issues. He is less successful on matters political.

I have been wondering why Dershowitz has been going out of his way to "help" the president and now I know that my instincts were correct as always.
Now that he has captured the hearts of many on the right he will be used against them.
SOP for the Dems.
