Another point that non-technical readers would miss is that the only way this info was available to VCScanner was that it was not encrypted over the air as a lot of agencies do these days while forgetting the public’s right and need to know. Encrypt tactical/SWAT all you want, just leave the general dispatch and patrol transmissions in the clear, IMO.
