Security video from Friday night shows the driver making a hard U-turn.
A second security video shows the driver reversing and trying to hit them again.
A home security camera caught the same car plowing through a stop sign just moments later.
A witness snapped a photo of a Koran on his dashboard, and although no one says the driver — Mohammed Mohammed — verbalized his own religion, folks in this community say targeting someone else for their religion is always a hate crime.
“I think this is just a much more violent, scary world than we all though it was,” said neighbor Michael Schwartz. “We had a few years of civility after the Holocaust and now that window is closing.”

Jews will have to come to the painful realization that their beloved Democratic Party has become the political home of “anti Zionism” and its permutations. There is a direct line from anti Zionism to anti Semitism.
They’re the same things, but one tries to disguise it. There are also liberal Jews who hate Israel, thinking they’re being good liberals by betraying their own. I don’t know what will wake them up.

Unfortunately, the world has never had civility, and mass murders and genocide continued after the Holocaust. They just weren't targeted specifically at Jews. Hate and resentment are ubiquitous in the world, and people have been targeted in every corner of the planet at one time or another.
Radical Islamists don't like any of us who aren't Islamic. Antisemitism is very real, but the kind of hate we've been seeing in the world is directed broadly and well beyond any specific group of people.
Definitely a hate crime, as well as domestic terrorism.
