KRON4's Michelle Kingston spoke to authorities who say, Taliaferro and his new wife of six months were in Kentucky looking at property she inherited. She told law enforcement that she was walking the property when she turned around and noticed Taliaferro had left in their rental car.

That's not fishy at all.

Well, the true story could go either way, but a mildly-moderately demented person might well drive away, forgetting why they were there and who they were with.

“That's not fishy at all.”

It could be that the “inherited property” was barren or swampy and Taliaferro bailed out to avoid insulting his new wife.
APB on the rental car, cell phone movements, etc. Modern Forensics should solve this soon.
