Have been a heavy user for the past 9 years.

I on the other hand have had an account for about 10 years and have not really figured out what to do with it.

I follow about 5 people and only check the account once a week.

There very few people in the world that I really care what they are doing or what their opinion is on things so much that I have to know immediately what they think.

With the adds that you have to put up with I just am not that interested in Twitter. Add to that the obvious political bias of the organization to the Left, it just does seem to be worth my time.

I came to Twitter in 2009 chasing news from Iran, during the rebellion there during #IranElection phase of Twitter.

Many such events have transpired since then.
