You might be right.....Espy problem was he had relatively zero crossover voters. His African American vote was not even close to a victory vote. Ms. Hyde-Smith slaughtered him politically with a 70,000 vote margin of victory.
I believe that Hyde-Smith would have gotten even more votes (another forty thousand or so) if the “Sour Grapes” Republicans that supported Chis Daniels would have voted for her. Instead, they either stayed home and did not vote or they voted for Mike Espy as a protest vote against Trump & Hyde-Smith. Trump saw the handwriting on the wall and sealed the deal for Hyde-Smith with his two massive, successful political rallies, Monday evening in Tupelo & Biloxi.
Espy could not match the Trump performance in his rallies. The Espy Rallies were pitiful, small and lightly attended. The entire Democrat party has no effective Powerhouse Campaigners and, Democrats, Obama, Biden, Harris, Booker, etc., do not cut the mustard,...so the Democrat Party left Mike Espy out-to-dry!!! Espy knew he was toast after about one-half hour after the votes were being counted. The game was over!!! That is why he conceded the race so quickly & early.
However...I say shame on those Republican sore losers that sat on their hands and did not cast votes and those real traitors that cast their votes for Democrat, Socialist, Communist, America Hater, Obamabot, Criminal, Mike Espy!!!
They will vote to confirm judges. As for legislation, there’s still a 60 vote threshold for that in the Senate.
