The well-publicized "caravan" of Central American migrants has arrived in large numbers at our border near Tijuana, Mexico, despite MSNBC's Joe Scarborough insisting the caravan is like a tale of Martians: "They're not comin'." They are attempting to climb over and through walls, and CNN's Jim Acosta had lectured the president saying it would never happen.
TV networks, over-reliant on emotional images and under-reliant on facts, are presenting this as they present everything else: as an outrage caused by ... President Trump. A radical group called Pueblo Sin Fronteras organizes hundreds of people who clash violently at the border, and somehow the only controversial player is Trump.
The Nov. 26 "NBC Nightly News" show was especially egregious, triumphantly broadcasting NBC White House reporter Hallie Jackson asking the president, "Are you comfortable tear-gassing children, like what we saw at the border?"
So here's the first thing we know: The Border Patrol was using tear gas at the border in the years of President Obama whenever illegal immigrants were brutally throwing rocks at our agents. Does anyone remember NBC asking Obama if he was comfortable tear-gassing children? Or did no one care about the immigrants then?

Well they were making nuclear weapons in Waco. Or something. What a disgrace.
Their mothers are comfortable walking them through two foreign countries.
Kashoggi is great, Benghazi 4 were bad.
TJ kids are great, Waco kids were bad.
I’m comfortable defending the Borders against invasions.
I’m not comfortable with adults deliberately placing children in harm’s way.
When they’re attached to a felon, yes!
I’m very comfortable defending my country from open invasion.
Hopefully the children will learn faster than the adults.
Better to use tear gas on these invaders than 556mm or 7.62mm hardball. Its a lot less messy.
If I had my way I’d put a mine field in front of that border fence and dare them to come across. But to be kind I would at least put up multi-lingual signs warning “Mines “ahead. Do Not Enter.
I wouldn’t be comfortable dragging my children into an area here they might run the rick of being tear gassed.
I’m not comfortable hearing stories about tear gas being used on children when it was a staged event using a white smoke canister.
Is the media comfortable with men using women and children as human shields?
Lessons learned early tend to become ingrained.
Mamacita shouldn’t have dragged you along to an invasion.
Let’s see, Trump warned these people over a month ago and apparently the so called reporter doesn’t read the news. She should have asked the Mother why she would willingly put her children in danger - she should be prosecuted for endangering the welfare of a child.
And what did NBC White House reporter Hallie Jackson ask Obama when “migrants” were gassed many time during his presidency? Anything?
Comfortable with gassing kids? If I was in charge there would be hordes of Mexicans fleeing to their southern border seeking refuge.
Yes, of they can use it as an anti-Trump story.
WUT? Like as if it was faked or something? LOL!
