Should have consulted with Mike Nifong about how to get out of serving time for that.

Raimundo Atesiano

Sounds Hispanic. So do two of the other officers convicted. I didn't see any of the "news" media saying they are racists. Guess you must first be white...

Raimundo Atesiano should serve at least double what the teen was sentenced to serve.

Three years?! That's pathetic.

Well, at least it'll have to be spent in solitary. I don't think he'd mix well with the general prison population. Ahole.

It probably goes without saying the chief framed white people too.

So where’s the outrage there? Hmm?

(crickets)

Once again - Black Privilege is at the forefront of the news. Crimes against whites are ignored, but crimes against blacks?

“Oh the Humanity!”

Wow... This POS issued 2,200 tickets in one year...

That’s more than 40 a week.

My guess is very few were legit...

They should be sentenced to the max for the crimes they tried to frame others for. Same should go for intentional false allegations of a crime.

Not long enough! 10 no parole. He must come clean on all other cases.

Where’s all the copsuckers and jackboot lickers to explain to us how Chief Atesiano was right because of a badge or a blue line or some other mythical talisman that rendered him infallible?

Kudos to the truly brave members of law enforcement who took their oaths seriously and defended innocent people from a thug with a badge! We need more such good people in uniform who are willing to rage against the blue wall of silence!

Such blatant abuse of police powers deserves 20 minimum.

He’s going to have a tough time explaining his crimes to the brothers on his cell block.
