A World War Two veteran who grew up in poverty and described himself as the "world's oldest rebel" has died.
The son of RAF veteran and author Harry Leslie Smith tweeted to say his father had died while visiting him in Canada.
The son of a miner, Mr Smith lived through the Great Depression and joined the RAF in 1941, serving in World War Two.

This guy is described in the article as a leftist. While of course we mourn the death of one who served with our ally during WWII, I am wondering why the mental meanderings of yet another leftard are posted here. Let this guy’s heirs give away all his estate to those filthy criminal invaders, who look like they should be wearing flea collars.
