The excitement just drips off the page. Steve Rose is the ultimate metrosexual who shouts about the evironment and climate change but whose idea of wildness is an unmown grass laden median along the parkway. He and the rest of the Left Wing Kansas City crowd are beside themselves at the victory of Sharice Davids, who is undoubtedly a Communist. Wyandotte and Johnson Counties who constitute the 3d Congressional District have always been the Democrat petting zoo of Kansas. The rest of us observe them in their natural environment on our way to Arrowhead and Kaufman to watch the Chiefs and the Royals.
They used to have their own Congressman, a Democrat, but then along came Kevin Yoder, a Republican who behaved like a Democrat. Well, they have their Democrat Congress critter back, but they won’t like her much, she is the Kansas version of Ocasio-Cortes. They will likely try to find a more suitable Democrat to replace her, but don’t count on them electing a Republican soon, if ever.
Yoder was a pimp, he’s better than a demonRAT, but was as dependable as Paul Ryan. Maybe they can do better in 2 years.
