Former President Barack Obama said he was “extraordinarily proud of the Paris accords” before, rather ironically, taking credit for booming U.S. oil and gas production.
“I was extraordinarily proud of the Paris accords because — you know, I know we’re in oil country and we need American energy, and by the way, American energy production,” Obama said at an event hosted by Rice University’s Baker Institute on Tuesday night.
“You wouldn’t always know it but it went up every year I was president,” Obama said of U.S. oil and gas production. “That whole, suddenly America’s like the biggest oil producer and the biggest gas — that was me, people.”

I remember Hamm the guy who discoveredand developed the Balkan oil fields meet with Obama , Hamm told Obama how large the reserves were and Obama dismissed it as “old technology”. Obama used to say “we have 10% of oil reserves and use 40% of the world’s oil, we can’t drillour way out of this”. Now he takes credit? What a clown. Of course no one in lame stream media will report the truth about Obama’s BS

Obama is like the man that said “I thought I made a mistake once, but I was wrong.”
All in all I’d rather the left take credit for good economic policies that the originally fought than that they continue to say we can never drill our way out of declining energy production.
His arrogance is unbelievable. How I loath him.

Um, he pretty did everything possible to stop fracking.
He just lost in court.
This is the guy that cancelled unused oil leases and cancelled oil lease auctions for off shore oil drilling.
