This isn’t Britain where a No Confidence vote might actually mean something.

Come January, she’ll be elected as Speaker because she’s not going to go away, and they aren’t going to split the vote so a Republican can win.

John McCain cast the deciding vote for her speakership! /s

Do the GOP then vote for her to disrupt caucus? I’m unsure of the tactics here.

Believe it or not, Pelosi’s not leftist enough for the new Democrat party...

At the end of the day she can buy this.

Some of them are just holding out for bigger checks.

And the most frightening thing is that the House Speaker is second in the line of succession to the office of POTUS.

I had never realized that the incoming freshman representatives have no vote over who will be their leadership, at least in the Donk party.
**************
So every Dem running for their first term in office could truthfully say they would not vote for Polosi for Speaker of the House. Talk about skullduggery.

Yes but I think if the Republicans see she is not going to win, I think some of them will vote for her to keep her in place. She does bring in donations for Republicans.

How often have we seen that happen in the last 40 years?

Mr. Clyburn dismissed concerns about the leadership troika’s ages.

“I have always been thinking about the future,” he told reporters. “I’ve thought about that all my life, and I am still thinking about the future.”

He added, “I’m very Southern; I let my work speak for me.”

I'll let "Mr. Clyburn's" remarks speak for themselves. Mr. Clyburn, age 78, has a very strange looking Sixth District here in South Carolina. Glad I'm not part of it.
