When I asked for an explanation of how you would handle the same problems in a private school that are difficult to handle in a public school, you refused to enlighten me. Therefore, I understand that you are not really behind education of your fellow citizens.

Then you stated some nonsense about me being anti-Catholic. From that I understand that you do not want public indoctrination centers competing with Catholic indoctrination centers.

Now you tell me that I am advocating "Big Government". Virtually all of my posts directed attention to centralized standards of excellence in education while having local communities fund and staff them. You have no capacity to read with comprehension, learn another's viewpoint, nor possess a spirit of statesmanship. You also have no faith in the government in which you supposedly participate. Through hard headed people like you, our Nation is sure to fail. Therefore, you are clearly one of those "domestic enemies".

Civilian education is simply not within the delegated functions of the Federal Government. Frankly, it is a good thing that it is not. Few things are more inherently immediate & local, personal & family than education.

The Federal Government was set up to perform specific functions. It was never intended as a cure all for any imagined problem.

I don't disagree. However, there must be a central authority of some sort to make sure all educational facilities meet high universal standards. Since private schools would be subject to the very same influences that corrupt public schools, what would you suggest?

In my humble opinion, the Federal government is the best place to host educational standards since all other standards were established in that manner. It is up to the voting People to regulate their own governance. YOU are one of those. So either support the standards authority that is present or establish an alternative.
