President Trump's former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, is reportedly set to plead guilty for misstatements he made to Congress while testifying about his contacts with Russians during the presidential campaign.
ABC, citing anonymous sources, reported that Cohen is expected to appear in a federal court in Manhattan on Thursday after reaching a deal with special counsel Robert Mueller.
The misstatements stem from testimony he gave in 2017.
The plea from Cohen marks the first time he has been charged by Mueller as part of his investigation into Russian election interference.
Perjury is a crime?
What exactly were those “contacts with Russians”?
What exactly was he asked?
Why is this in Manhattan if it has something to do with Russia?
Well, I see The Hill somehow managed to work it into the story that Cohen was once the president’s personal attorney.
I think the questions were about the Tower meeting....which was about 20 minutes long.
This is timed to extend the mueller investigation and flake’s 4th branch of government proposal in the Senate. Nothing more or less. Another ‘revelation’ will happen in the next month, or when it looks like the investigation is close to ending.
And yet, Brennan lies and it is no big deal, other than his actions being completely illegal and treasonous.
I have said from the beginning that the Tower meeting was where there is something with this guy Gates and Hope Hicks that they will claim President Trump knew of the meeting as if that means anything

It’s what their intent is but in reality more rope to hang themselves with.
I am sure that Cohen thought that, if everybody else gets away with lying under oath before Congress, why can’t I.
This kind of thing is why Trump should knee cap the Mueller investigation. It will metastasize into all areas of Trump’s history before he became president.
The latest excitement that has the MSM breathless with excitement regarding Cohen: Nothing to do with Russian collusion.
With a business concern as large as Trump’s, there is bound to be someone with their hand in the till.

I still fail to see what was so bad about the tower meeting. Much ado about nothing.
Cohen lied about the date that the Russian deal for a Tower was ended. Missed date by 6 months. BIG F——G DEAL
Not really an issue to send someone to prison for and most people’s opinion of Congress is lower than that of a used car salesman.
If Ciohen lied, most people don’t care. Mueller is a sad sack joke of a prosecutor.
This probe of his is not only a huge waste of taxpayer dollars, its an insult to our intelligence.
Has been for decades. But not for Democrats.
