Brown paper covered the windows of Ed Burke's office at Chicago City Hall on Thursday after federal agents showed up there.
Burke, who is the City Council Finance Committee chairman in Chicago, once served as President Donald Trump's property tax attorney, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Klafter & Burke, his firm, has often sought to reduce the property taxes Trump Tower and other commercial properties have to pay.
The visit from federal agents was unannounced, and it has not been said why they might be there. Upon their arrival, everyone in the office was asked to leave, witnesses told WLS television station in Chicago.

It’s possible there’s a big game of “chicken” going on between Mueller and Trump, with bluffing, head fakes and all kinds of shenanigans afoot.
And yet nothing is being done about clear collusion and corruption on the part of Hillary Clinton.

Ed Burke is one of the more corrupt Chicago democrats in power here HOWEVER if Mulehead’s idea is to get him to flip against his former client, Trump, I say good luck to that. Not only does Burke’s wife, Anne, sit on the Illinois Supreme Court, but his other property tax clients include Richard M. Daley, both Lisa and Mike Madigan (our Sheldon Silver) and former governor Rauner. Good luck bringing down the entire Chicago democrat machine, Mulehead!
Yeah, seriously. Everyone appeals their assessment, but if the taxing authority is of a mind to do so they’ll put the screws to you. No matter who your attorney is.
Mueller couldn't get what he wanted out of Trump's attorney Cohen, so now Mueller is moving down the pecking order to another former Trump lawyer, trying to squeeze him for an incriminating statement against President Trump.
Raiding Burke's office is step one in the squeeze.

Property tax attorneys are a large part of the Great Illinois Tax Scam. Burke is filthy to the core...was instrumental in the Chicago handgun ban of 1982, the smoking ban, public telephone ban, spray paint ban and just about any other ban you can think of. The prick’s wife is on the Illinois Supreme Court. A thorough scumbag.
Mueller has entered Stasi territory. How I’d love for someone to step forward, say General Flynn, and call on all concerned citizens, who are 2A adherents, to muster in DC.
If 0bama can put under seal all of his private records, why can’t president Trump.
