Disagree. It's like giving up the rainbow to the homosexualists. We are conservatives, Constitutional Conservatives. That's admirable. Instead, give up the label "republican" which is just a label and no longer represents conservative ideals these days.

Continually allowing the left to define the terms of the debate, then surrendering and retreating based upon that abdication, is neither courageous or effective.

Rush Limbaugh is wrong, philosophically and pragmatically. Whatever new term was adopted would itself be promptly corrupted by the leftist media.

I am a conscious conservative, not merely a reflexive traditionalist, and I refuse to abdicate that most accurate descriptor.

I agree with you, just like almost everybody here on FR calls QUEERS “gays”.
The definition in my dictionary defines GAY as happy, joyous, giddy, fun loving, etc.

Has any one here ever met a HOMO/QUEER/LESBO/TRANS or any of their other perversions that was even a remotely happy person?

If we surrender the language to the PROG/LIB/DEM/SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST/LEFTISTS, we surrender our own identity.
I think I will just keep the designation of CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE.
And the republican part will just have to go along for the ride.
