What worked in the mid terms was the Democrats getting away with large scale voter fraud and the Republicans passively accepting it.
The Democrats can not win an honest election.
But they can win if there is enough voter fraud.

When a President’s policies are at all popular division and rabble rousing is all you have so this really isn’t news.
What’s news is we’ve never seen this level of ugliness involved.
An example of the silly stupidity is getting on Melania last year for white trees, and getting on her this year for red ones. What will they find wrong with the blue ones next year? Blue ones is what I expect her to do to complete the nation’s colors. And the 4th year? The three colors together for election year is my guess.
And how is this different from what the Dems have been doing the last two years? It isn’t.
‘Our’ corrupt state has carried out multiple coup attempts on President Trump. Mueller’s soviet style special counsel is an ongoing coup attempt and MOST OF THE GOP still support his mission.

Here's the deal - declass ain't gonna do jack shite. As some have already noted, the proglibs know perfectly well what Trump has ie there aren't any secrets. So, why aren't they worried? Because they believe Trump doesn't have the 'nads to actually do what needs to be done.
And what is that? Simple, Trump is going to have to go full Pinochet if there is any chance at saving the republic. So, for those who are beginning to doubt his resolve, we're not questioning penny ante stuff like the rogue DoJ/FBI. Rather, we're making the same gut assessment as the DS, which is Trump won't go there.
Conclusion: they win. Now, if Trump does actually decide to man up and call out the militia, then I will happily eat the biggest dish of crow.

What was the 2018 Midterm Election about? It obviously wasn’t about the booming Economy under Trump’s leadership. It wasn’t about low Unemployment and cutting Taxes.
It was just about hating Trump and getting revenge. The Rats succeeded in gaining 40 House Seats, many they shouldn’t have had a chance in winning.
They kept the GOP gains in the Senate to only two in an Election Cycle that had over half the Seats in the Rat Caucus up for Reelection.
Get ready for two years of hell against the POTUS, much worse than the last two years have been.
