Some may call me “Captain Obvious”, but it is my belief that Ryan is setting himself up to run against Trump in 2020.

He’s got that smugness about him that he’s the smartest guy in the room, and knows better that everyone.

I could be wrong.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

what party do you suppose he’ll run in?

The GOP CHOSE Ryan because they KNEW he hated Pres. Trump.

The GOP is the curse upon the American People,
never delivering, always lying,
and preening like it was a vitamin.

If he runs, it'll be to help the democrat win

To say I despise him is not a strong enough statement.

The failed vote follows months of amicable work toward a bipartisan deal.

Well THERE'S your problem!

Ya lunkhead...

You are, of course, correct.

And since the entire globe is SCROOOOOOD if the US suffers an economic collapse, nobody is likely to ever call us on it.

I think it’s a tossup between Ryan and Obama as to who has done the most damage to our country.

Sigh...

Republicans need to understand that Democrats don’t want to work with them. THEY want Republicans DEAD!

Bipartisanship is the “pixie dust” of politicians who have been in Washington DC too long.

NOW are we finally free of Lil Paulie? His departure is the only good thing to come out of this election at the House level.

Thank you for referencing that article detective. As usual, please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Who cares about RINO Ryan’s likely unconstitutional dream of budget reform anyway?

Patriots are reminded that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices had clarified that Congress is prohibited from appropriating taxes in the name of state power issues, essentially anything that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."—Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

In fact, until patriots get Pres. Trump up to speed on Congress’s limited power to appropriate taxes, a gridlocked Congress can arguably get us to a Section 8-compliant federal budget faster than Trump can in the next 6 years.

“He’s got that smugness about him that he’s the smartest guy in the room, and knows better that everyone.”

Going to be interesting to see how wrong he is.

Never cared for him since day one.

“We got gamed...by leadership — House, Senate, Republican, Democrat.”

Welcome to the party, Pal!*

‘We The People’ have been taking it up the backside for as long as I can REMEMBER from Mother Government!

*On the Bright Side, it’s almost time to watch ‘Die Hard,’ my FAVORITE Christmas movie! ;)

Enjoy the movie.

A few weeks ago they had a Die Hard marathon on TV. All the movies in order.

It was great to watch.

Did anyone hear of this effort, or was it being done SECRETLY, no different than Eric Cantor’s efforts to get a mass amnesty through when denying it publicly?

I certainly don’t remember hearing about this.

You are absolutely correct in saying that his smugness show that he thinks he is the smarted guy in the room. Unfortunately for him and the GOP, he isn’t and never will be.
