Paul Ryan questions California's 'bizarre' vote-counting process
Fox News ^ | 30 November 2018 | Louis Casiano

House Speaker Paul Ryan questioned the legitimacy of California’s ballot-counting process Thursday, adding to claims from many Republicans that the state’s election procedures are flawed.

“It defies logic to me,” Ryan told the Washington Post. “We had a lot of wins that night, and three weeks later we lost basically every contested California race. This election system they have, I can’t begin to understand what ballot harvesting is.”

"Ballot harvesting" is when a third party collects completed ballots from voters and hands them over to election officials. The practice was legal for the first time in California this year.

Ryan has not accused California of any wrongdoing.

Californa took longer than other states to finish counting ballots cast Nov. 6, prompting criticism from many Republicans. By Election Night millions of ballots that were mailed in still needed to be hand-counted.

Alex Padilla, the state's top election official, fired back at Ryan on Twitter, saying the state makes sure "every ballot is properly counted and accounted for. That’s not 'bizarre,' that’s DEMOCRACY.”

Well, Paul, maybe you should have been a bit more diligent over the past couple of years to fix the corrupt voting system...

I guess he figured he’d better sound a little less oppositional, crossed the line again, but couldn’t quite bring himself to sound supportive of anything remotely Trump related. So, he bitches about California. Pretty safe, no donor toes stepped upon. What a total ass Ryan is. How about an EO banning lobbying of Congress? Send him back to podunk empty-handed.

” “every ballot is properly counted and accounted for. That’s not ‘bizarre,’ that’s DEMOCRACY.””

every Ballot cast by a US citizen or just every ballot added into the system of ballots to be counted any where or time along the counting process?

lies of omission, dems seem real good at it.

California is a One Party State and that party will work to keep power legally or illegally. They want to do the same for the rest of American.

Concur, and the circular conservative firing squads assist them.

Paul Ryan sabotaged the Midterms to help destroy Trump .
He did not resign and leave in order to oversee it for his masters the
Koch Bros and the Chamber of Crony Capitalists ...
He orchestrated the 40 Gope Never Trumper retirements .
Ever recall the Dems retirement like this . Ryan job was to stop Trump . This pathetic article is a pitiful attempt to cover his treason.

and will lose in the primaries! When Trump became President it showed the true colors of many republicans I respected, but no longer. They can’t even back the man who won in their party and we the PEOPLE will remember that.

But how do you make sure every ballot is properly cast?

“....Ryan,defies logic to me...”
It’s pretty simple, really.
He’s a corrupt, deep state, UniParty hack that hates the POTUS. In essence, he’s a fake American, a globalist.
Ryan probably suggested, or even orchestrated, many of the House flips.
The GOPe arm of the UniParty just flipped those seats to the Rat side of the UniParty to avoid the publicity in front of the “unwashed masses” of trying to take out a so-called GOP POTUS. Let the RAT side of the UniParty do the dirty work.
They may wear different hats, but these commie POSs ALL have the same agenda and goals.
