President Trump said Thursday that he only hired attorney Michael Cohen because "he did me a favor" long ago — and former Trump confidant Roger Stone says he knows what that favor was.
"Cohen, whose wife is extremely wealthy, purchased a number of Trump condos at top-of-the-market prices," Stone told the Washington Examiner, explaining the president's vague remark.
The White House did not respond to a request for comment, and a person close to Cohen denied Stone's account without offering an alternative explanation.

Might be curious to know what Cohen did with the Condos, but there’s probably some big long story tied to some former mayor of New York City.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they used the inflated purchase prices to take out second mortgages, then defaulted on those mortgages.
I think this guy Stone is a flake. He strikes me as being a half bubble off. I get the exact same feeling listening to people like Brennan and Clapper and Comey. They’re all weird.

Yeah, but Stone thinks he’s an insider. He’s a doofus.
Stone is not a flake he is an eccentric operative and in many ways a wild man. Don’t take him lightly. That’s why they want to get him because he has been a Republican operative for many years.

2 Any money laundering involved in their part? (Manipulation of mortgages etc).
