A landlord has the right to restrict firearms on his property. It was probably in the lease.

I think it’s stupid. But the landlord makes the rules.

Not if they used the standard board of realtors lease for the area.

Sounds like an odd arrangement, where the landlord has separate lease agreements with multiple roommates who apparently aren’t friends. This sounds more like a boarding house than an apartment building.

You are correct if there is a restriction in the lease. If the language is not in the lease, the landlord may wish he/she had kept their mouth and the facts of this to themselves.

I suspect this is going to be rather expensive for that landlord if the tenant chooses to act.
