"Macron has sought to douse the anger by promising three months of nationwide talks on how best to transform France into a low-carbon economy without penalising the poor.

He also vowed to slow the rate of increase in fuel taxes if international oil prices rise too rapidly but only after a tax hike due in January." linky

""Macron has sought to douse the anger by promising three months of nationwide talks on how best to transform France into a low-carbon economy without penalising the poor...."

To a well-to-do lefty globalist this might sound perfectly logical.

To the citizens who are struggling to pay the bills and are tired of ever-increasing taxes this is not going to calm their feelings. Many of the working class are tiring of paying the huge price in taxes to subsidize the uninvited guests which are living off the taxpayer and will continue doing so as long as the gravy train continues, while despoiling the nation and culture which is feeding them but they find repulsive.

Macrons approval rating is down to 22-23% and will continue to fall. And we all know by now how honest "negotiations" are with the globalist Euro cabal.
