"Ravaged" by gun violence? Fewer "gun deaths"? Gee, why don't they make it retroactive while they're at it. You know, for say the past 10 years or something. Oh crap. Hopefully they're not monitoring this.

No matter what the law or regulation, it’s always...
We just want to pass some ‘common sense’ gun laws.
The left never defines common sense.

Last year, the program gave $8 million to communities ravaged by gun violence,...Yeah, and 98% of it went right into people's pockets, with the other 2% used to make it look like they're 'doing something'.

Liar. The goal is more tyranny and more tax dollars for you to spend and play with.

I remember 1982, when Prop 15 was to be voted on by the public. the purpose was to register all handguns and ban new ones in the state of California.
It was guaranteed to pass! The night before the vote CBS even had a full hour about Prop 15 to try and influence the voters to pass it. Handgun Control Inc was popping the champagne bottles in view of a success!
BOOM! The voters rejected it outright. Since that time the politicians of Cali have worked overtime to find other ways to ban guns, one little reason at a time if possible.

Time to tax socialism. A sensible socialism tax. A common sense socialism tax. For the children.
And so that the tax can be fairly levied, socialists will need to be registered with their county, state and the federal government. With the strict promise that that registry will never be used for anything else.

Gun violence prevention in California is sending a gang of thugs with masks and wearing hoodies to harass anyone who owns a firearm. Soros funds that quite well already, no need for taxes to fund more democrat Nazi Brownshirts

It’s interesting, and not at all surprising, that so many of these “common sense” gun laws involve collecting money for the democrat party.

Never ceases to amaze me how the left want to impose restrictions, taxes, even outright ban something that is clearly listed as one of our bedrock rights...
...At the same time they idolize, advocate, even subsidize abortion, a "basic human right" that appears nowhere in the constitution.
