We need well informed taxpayers. Hopefully you take the information I gave you in the previous post and build on it.
I do not mean to single out Mr Musk but my distaste for all "capitalist" who rely upon the generosity of the American government to run their business. I feel this way about big Business as I do about Big Agriculture. (I am from a farming family)
I can not see how a government can "pick and choose" those lucky businessmen who can lend on government largesse without corrupting the whole. Ether do for all or not do for any.

Then your issue is with politicians who create the subsidies. My impression is that Musk goes after subsidies for competitive reasons. For instance, his companies hire a lot of veterans and they receive subsidies for doing so.
I have yet to see a FReeper get angry at Foxconn for receiving subsidies. They get more than Tesla and they aren’t even an American company.
