If Corsi’s allegations are true ..

Ah, theres the rub. How do you prove it? Surely they put him in a closed room and made whatever threats in there, with nothing on the record. Unless Corsi wore a wire it's his word against theirs.

On the other hand, a guy like Corsi might actually wear a wire! Or rather bring a recorder and try to covertly record the meeting. But I can't imagine Mueller's team didn't check for that if they were going to be making threats and suborning perjury.

RE: Unless Corsi wore a wire it’s his word against theirs.

Assuming he can get away with doing it, is it LEGAL?

I doubt Corsi has any recordings. However, just like the “me too” movement, success is based on collaboration. Will Manafort and Stone join in or file similar complaints?

This is more than a legal process, it also a political one. The fake news media is clearly in the camp that opposes due process and civil rights and is on the side of the police state. This is a naturally unpopular sentiment that unites those from diverse political perspectives.

The fake media is seen as supporting the CIA, DOJ, FBI the surveillance state which is a shift from the past. Increasingly, conservatives have lost trust in these institutions, most on the left have never supported these agencies. This will cause the fake media to become isolated and hopefully irrelevant.

That’s where you show the pattern of one’s past actions. What’s their reputation? Is it one of honesty or deceit?

There are a lot of ways to do a secret recording. However, if you’re going to do this you have to be in a one party consent jurisdiction. Mueller’s team probably made Corsi sign a statement that recording devices were prohibited (I do this in my medical clinic). If you record illegally, you’ll just be in more trouble and the evidence will not be admissible.

So Corsi was interviewed 19 times, maybe he did at one point. But you really have to wonder why Corsi would’ve talked to a creep like Mueller. As a journalist Corsi certainly would have known Mueller’s history of intimidating witnesses and suborning perjury in Boston.
