Conservative journalist pioneer and entrepreneur Michelle Malkin announced Monday that she would leave CRTV after the group merged with Glenn Beck’s The Blaze enterprise.
“I am so proud of the investigative journalism I did for CRTV,” she wrote on Twitter. “So many heroes, so many compelling stories. I will not be continuing with the company, but wish my colleagues all the best.”
Beck, the founder of The Blaze, and Mark Levin, the founder of CRTV, announced their decision on Monday to merge the two companies into “Blaze Media.” Malkin was featured in the video released to promote the merger.

Regardless of the players, I see the beginnings of a conservative megacorp that could be the foundation for a new social media platform for conservatives to rival Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
I could be totally wrong, but how does a social media platform begin? Facebook seems to have swept up the remains of Myspace after that platform fell to sexual predator abuses. Facebook is now pushing conservatives off of their platform with nowhere else to go.
Currently, Blaze and CRTV seem to be subscription-based pushed content platforms. The question is how to leverage that into an interactive hub that also supports messaging, bulletin-board posting, user-managed sub-sites with e-commerce, user file, photo, and video hosting, etc.?
Are there any other conservative media personalities doing anything else remotely connected to building a conservative media platform?
Is this something that has the potential to become the long-asked-for conservative rival to Facebook, or is it just another alternative media platform pushing targeted content for niche viewers?

I seem to recall that Levin was big on Cruz and that there was some relationship of his involved in the Cruz campaign. This would explain some of his nastiness toward Trump. Thankfully, Levin seems to have come around in a big way.
I remember Beck joining up his Hate Trump Tour with that disgusting and vile Samantha Bee. He just does things for shock value and attention. I can’t believe Levin is teaming up with this bozo.
I wonder if Michelle will appear on FOX somewhere. I’d love to see Shep or Cavuto exit and make room for her.

Beck took a gamble in 2015/2016 and lost when he went full-bore NeverTrump and got funding from Facebook.

One man can start a new social media platform overnight — his name his Donald J. Trump.
If he bails on Twitter as his preferred platform, half the nation will move to the new platform.
If so, that would make a great improvement if replaced Shep the screwball communists Democrat.
The truth is she wasn’t doing many shows for a long time. This has nothing to do with personalities. She should go somewhere that she will be used.

I guess it - like Beck - is still around.
Last I heard the Beck media empire was failing now he’s expanding buying Levin’s company. So who is the white knight injecting money into Beck’s enterprise to corral conservative media into the Blaze control turning it into a conservative media monopoly? Someone named George maybe?
It's past time top put personalities aside and focus on moving the building blocks around.
Like I said, I could be totally wrong on what's going on, it might just be a financial play for eyeballs. But it could also be moving the earth around in preparation for laying the foundation for something bigger.
If it's the latter, then Malkin jumped ship too soon. Maybe she's still stuck on the personalities and can't see a bigger picture being shaped up, or maybe I'm just seeing a mirage that satisfies my unquenched thirst?

It’s always puzzled me how the NeverTrumpers failed to see the dire straits of our Constitutional Republic in 2016.
We needed a street fighting patriot - not a Country Club establishment hack - to not only defeat HELLS but reverse the trend and put America back on the right pathway.
Trump was the ONLY candidate and, when he came down the escalator and spoke about our border and the illegal alien invaders, I was on board.
That the NeverTrumper Intelligentsia could not grasp that reality speaks volumes of their lack of patriotism and intelligence.
