Ministers have agreed to publish the government's full legal advice on the deal after MPs found them in contempt of Parliament for issuing a summary.
And MPs backed calls for the Commons to have a direct say in what happens if her deal is rejected next Tuesday.
Mrs May said MPs had a duty to deliver on the 2016 Brexit vote and the deal on offer was an "honourable compromise".
Mrs May was addressing the Commons at the start of a five-day debate on her proposed agreement on the terms of the UK's withdrawal and future relations with the EU.
The agreement has been endorsed by EU leaders but must also be backed by the UK Parliament if it is to come into force. MPs will decide whether to reject or accept it on Tuesday 11 December.
Mrs May said Brexit divisions had become "corrosive" to UK politics and the public believed the issue had "gone on long enough" and must be resolved.

I totally agree she’s no Margaret Thatcher. But I shudder to think if the Labour Party takes over with Jeremy (”the Red”) Corbyn.
Ms May should be a domestic in some obscure London suburb not the PM of the once noble and still formidable UK.
Just wait until Saddiq Khan becomes Labour Leader.

At least Corbyn actually wants Brexit.
That was hysterical!!
The world!!
And it was close!! lol
Don’t be so sure!! :)
I read an article today that our best tank, with limitless ammunition could just continually take out 100s of Panzers because their reach would not be nearly as far nor their speed nearly as fast.
That’s even less likely than Jeremy Corbyn leading the Conservative Party. Khan is nowhere near the Labour leadership. With Momentum dominating both the Labour National Executive and the membership, his wing of Labour is more remote from power than it’s ever been.
Nuke Media as well or you only kill half the beast. To be absolutely positively sure Nuke Riyadh too
Well, they no longer have a Panzer division.

No but soon their panzer will be out of the shop using spare parts from the other two.
I am astonished that she has not resigned. Yes, I know the constitution of the UK is unwritten. Yes, I know this gives the government (some) flexibility in times of danger.
However.
If the Deep State is really sovereign - and not the Queen in Parliament - then anything can happen, and probably will.
Agree 100%
Based on my limited understanding of the British Parliamentary system, it seems the Queen should be calling for new elections.
Depends on whether she invoked ‘party discipline’. All Parliamentary losses aren’t equal.
She doesn’t have that power. Under the 2011 Fixed Term Parliament Act, there are only two circumstances in which a general election can be called before the end of the term. Either the government loses two votes of confidence in the Commons within 14 days: or the Commons can vote by a two-thirds majority for an early election.
The losses this week were not confidence votes.
