Think how much easier Trump’s job of saving America would be if Bush would have given him the least bit of respect for winning. Instead the low life SOB had all the time in the world for Obama and Bill Clinton.
The Caine Mutiny movie addressed this very concept. What if Trump got a little support from his own party right when he needed it? Imagine the effect it could have had.
Where has “The Won” been the last few days?
The very nature of the business repels so-called normal people from engaging in it professionally. Oh some come to it later in life out of mainly altruistic motives, but the professional politician... that is a strange breed of cat. And usually not in a healthy manner. Hollywood for ugly people?
George H W Bush was a good man, maybe even a great man. But as a politician he was an amateur playing with the pros (see the Clintons, and Stephanopoulus, and Carville, etc).
He did handle himself with grace and dignity while going onto his maker. Unlike McStain who was issuing evil eye curses from his death bed.
I dont have a problem with Trump. I think he speaks the truth, harshly at times, but I dont find it offensive. He uses it as a tool.
People dont realize he was well brought up, educated in the finest schools so any crass behavior is a tool wielded by an expert.
Your children will read about Trump in the leftist history books as being a bad person, but if they dig, they’ll find that in spite of a rough manner, Trump accomplished things that your “nice” Presidents (e.g., The Messiah) could only dream of accomplishing. Sorry Kaslin, facts are facts/
