Aside from the widely recognized shape of their flowers, which resemble the head of a tropical bird, bird-of-paradise plants (Strelitzia spp.) are admired for their vibrant floral coloration. The brilliant orange is even more intense on the furry outside of their seeds, and is able to persist for decades,1 unlike most plant pigments, which degrade rapidly after cell death.

It has to do with long term/short term memory, or CRS.
One of the great intellectual flaws of naturalism is the idea that there is some unintelligible, even mystical distinction between ideas of religious faith and those of naturalistic science somehow involving the way each processes logic and observation.
Been tellin people for years that I have terminal CRS. At least when I remember to.
