I met Carter when he flew a United Charter from Newark, NJ to Toledo, Ohio and back to Newark during the Presidential Campaign of 1976.
He stopped by the cockpit to thank us after we landed in Newark which I thought was nice of him to do. My surprise was how short Carter was. I am 6’ tall and felt like I “towered” over him. I had never felt that way before and have not since.
Now some sources list Carter as 5’10” but I feel that 5’6” would be a stretch.
The presidency is a very hard job and you must have the ability to face your political enemies in these situations and put the personal feelings aside. Publicly snubbing your enemies is an indicator of immaturity.
I commend Trump for always being able to put a smile on his face and shake hands even when surrounded by people who utterly revile him.

The Bushes, even Babs, are well known in Houston and elsewhere for getting themselves on various corporate boards, getting the company a government contract then bailing out.
