The system should be illegal. Early voting is fine, but late voting amounts to unequal protection of the laws. It gives voters who are harvested an unequal opportunity to cast their ballots. So those who vote for parties that are better organized and send canvassers around door-to-door get to have an Election “Day” that stretches into weeks.

Morris is correct, here.

Something else should be observed and frequently stated...

Democrats (including socialists and Marxists) just HATE free and fair elections. And...

Democrat voters do not seem to realize that THEIR votes eventually will not matter, either. (Should scare them, doesn't.)

Democracy and equality are two terms that are often defined much differently depending on the context.

Democracy, like equality, has many many different connotations, few if any of them beneficial to the human condition.

For democracy to work, there must be a populace that is capable of informed opinions, and has access to the real situation on the ground, through a free and unbiased news reporting medium. For equality to work, there has to be a mutually agreed to set of ground rules, and the will to enforce them fairly and impartially.

If voting really mattered in California, it would probably outlawed altogether, and only a sampling of “polls” taken of small select groups would be used as a guide to selection of the government officials.
