Correct. Of course, the client might still have grounds for a malpractice suit. In a situation like this where the case was so frivolous that attorneys' fees were awarded, a malpractice suit could have some merit. Of course, CPL doesn't have any money to pay, but he may have malpractice insurance she could tap into.
