“War hero Bush my ass.”
Hey, he enlisted at age 18 and got shot down and resumed life after that with no bragging or feeling sorry for himself. What would it take to make him a war hero in your eyes?
When was he wounded? My father was in WWII, Korea. and Vietnam x2. He was never a hero. He served and did “HIS” job. The heroes are the Alvin York’s, Audie Murphy’s, Bob Howards, and the biggest heroes are everyone who DIED for your right to be a critic. I had many Montagnards die from GSW,s, add a 1LT who died on 24 APR 69 calling in and and adjusting air strikes . Yes, he was shot in the chest, knew he was dying, and; yes he said-”I will call in and direct air until I die. Bush is not close to any of these men. No he was no REMF. Hero my ass.
