Were the ballots already completed by the county office and only needed his signatures? If so, I’m surprised that it was only 600.
Repubs “out-RAT” the RATs and get caught.
If the N.C. Board of Elections determines the election is tainted, what happens ?
Election do-over ?
Lose the seat ?
just shoot me.
I don’t claim to know NC election law on this; and, I disfavor absentee voting, early voting, ballot harvesting, etc. But since we have all this absentee voting, I see nothing intrinsically wrong with facilitating distribution of BLANK absentee ballots, so long as they are voted and signed by legitimate registered voters and returned BEFORE election day. Election officials can check the addresses and signatures on file, and whether the person has voted redundantly.
What bugs me is that journalists write articles on this as if it reeks of evil, yet make no attempt to report on the law, or even make specific allegations.

Here is more background.
Documents released by the NCSBE on Tuesday indicate that Dowlesswho was a contractor for Harriss campaign, hired through a political-consulting firmrequested almost 600 absentee ballots in Bladen County. According to accounts given to reporters and in sworn affidavits, Dowless had a team of workers going around collecting absentee ballots from voters, which is a violation of state law. In some cases, the affidavits allege, these workers completed ballots for votersalso a violation of the law. Both Bladen and Robeson Counties also had an unusually high number of unreturned absentee ballots, which could indicate they were collected by someone but never turned in
The government of the State of California is in open rebellion.
Martial law could easily be justified, but then you’d have to try to imagine that deep state-aligned brass wouldn’t create even more of a massive fustercluck.
Practically speaking, only Californians can fix California, and as of today that seems quite unlikely.
But as California is far from alone among the fifty states in their sedition, one could surely be excused for pessimism.
The particulars are vastly different today from then, but the 1858-59 type of polarization seems like deja vu all over again . . .
The leftist induced corruption must be taken out completely
That certainly paints a clearer picture — thanks.
The North Carolina Election Board is composed of 4 Republicans, 4 Democrats and 1 Independent. They voted 7-2 to not certify this election and to issue subpoenas and hold hearings.
1 person = 1 ballot; I've a problem with anyone getting more than one absentee ballot. Heck, I'm honestly really against voting anywhere but a voting booth on election day; and all for putting polling places in bars because I need a good stiff drink after holding my nose for some of these stinkers.
Sorry, I was referring to the states where the more blatant examples of election fraud occured.
I know a nurse who worked in a nursing home in West Palm Beach, FL (dem, of course). The nurses would get the ballots for Alzheimer patients and vote them at the nurses station. She was quite proud of it.
They both suffer from someone losing track of them on purpose.
