I have CCW, and would like to carry OWB instead of Appendix carry IWB, I don’t see the big deal, every security guard and cop carries that way. In FL. its hot and uncomfortable and carrying OWB without hiding it under a jacket would not only be more comfortable, but it would have a deterrent effect on crime.

We keep getting shooting crimes by mentally ill and terrorists, better that they see they won’t be getting away without getting shot.

Also, deploying your gun is faster OWB.

In Wyoming, the weather is such that about half of the year, I like to have an open [unzipped/snapped/buttoned] jacket on to protect my handgun from the weather; it's less about concealment than coverage. And after more than 50 years of working with the old Army M3 shoulder holster, a shoulder rig, often a M3, tends to be my preference more often than not.

But like a lot of cops and security guards, I am not at all inconvenienced by carrying a second, seriously concealed handgun as well. And there's usually a decent rifle or shotgun available in my truck, or in milady's truck or helicopter. It's bear country out this way, and the frequency of local incidents involving them has been on the increase.
