Why oh why would the elites elect to have a face-to-face confrontation, when time and demographics will do all the necessary work for them? I assume most people know that firearms are illegal in Mexico - at least for regular 'citizens'. So, since they're already pre-conditioned to accept their positions of servitude, sans any viable means of self defense and/or resistance to tyranny, why wouldn't they make the perfect substitute for future Americans?

Look, I know fantasy sells better than reality, so you have to ramp up a tardish proglib's inopportune truthiness. But, the left didn't gain their positions of power by being stupid; rather, they are quite crafty and know exactly what they're doing promoting open borders.
