It isn’t just leftists, it’s their masters, the cynical & selfish ultra elites, who all have armed security, whose minions have all the technological means of discovering who has the guns and extracting them with minimal fuss. Knife terror England is proof there’s no security, because laws favoring criminals over victims are too useful for social control.

“...whose minions have all the technological means of discovering who has the guns and extracting them with minimal fuss.”

That explains all the SWAT raids I’ve been seeing in my neighborhood.\s

Seriously, gun grabbers aren’t omnipotent. Sure, they’re slogging through mountains of paper 4473’s at the BATF record center and trying to create a master database of guns & owners (which is illegal since 1986). But 4473 only records point of retail sale.

My Dad told me, “in order to have a registration law, you must have a deregistration law”. Which is exactly what the gun grabbers want when they propose “universal background checks”. Record every transfer and you have registration. Then confiscation according to how the political winds blow.

But there is no registration law. Private unrecorded sales are legal and if the Senate & PDJT stand firm, those will stay that way.

This isn’t Britain, Australia, Germany or anywhere else in the world. Where are all the gun laws passed when the Dems controlled Congress & Obama had eight years to wield his executive order pen? Yes, states like CA, NY, NJ, MA, and now WA have gone fascist with FOID & registration of scary black rifles, but the noncompliance rate is so huge that the po-po fear going door to door.

I mean, you’re a cop turned out in full tacticool. But you can’t help assuming that behind every front door you’re about to knock on stands an AR-15 owner angry at being told that what was once legal is now illegal and that he is being treated like a felon. He ignores your repeated knocks.

Sure, bring on the battering ram, which will make the owner’s adrenalin skyrocket and at that point all bets are off.

You do like to go home at night, don’t you?

I'm afraid there'd be a great deal of "fuss", considering there are 150 million gun owners possessing 400 million guns.

Even if only one in ten refused to comply with a general confiscation order, that would be an army 15 million strong. That's ten times the number of federal troops under arms.

Don't think that the feds haven't wargamed this scenario out, many times in the past. I'll guarantee you that every time they have, they've lost in the end.
