I am beyond dubious that the FAKE, or lying, news can ever be stopped. Pres Trump has created his own news outlet with his Twitter messages for all Americans to read and the fake news media to obsess about. I would like to have Pres Trump have a frequent, possibly weekly, TV appearance. He could detail for Americans, item by item, the issues needing disclosure, such as illegal immigration, and the cost to all taxpayers for the maintenance of each new person who enters this country. Facts and figures for building the wall and what and who are standing in the way of progress in getting it built. Other issues as to the reason sanctuary cities are allowed to exist and why one judge can countermand a Presidential order. The double standard for law breakers in the government and the ordinary citizen. Voter fraud that cancels legal votes. On and on. Just give us the names, groups, cost to our govt, etc. A weekly report would be just fine. It would keep the Fake Newsers in a tizzy and pro Trumpers better informed as to what the hell is going on in their country.
I like it! And in the meantime, wouldn’t it be nice if members of congress would just stand up now and then and refute the lies being told to and about all of us?

That hundreds of “journalists” were colluding (rigging) news coverage, talking points, and who would present what questions (and the framing of those questions) at supposed “press conferences” was a huge damning scandal of corruption and if you ask 75% of the public, they know nothing about “Journolist” or the other channels of communication they still use.
Ask the “man on the street” if he knows about the Obama administration paying to put political propaganda into fictional tv programs to promote Obamacare and other agenda items.
Ask the “man on the street” if he knows that the FBI was planting “news items” to give cause to “investigate” (persecute) President Trump.
Ask the “man on the street” if he knows that reporters were sleeping with government figures for news leaks.
the “news” is thoroughly discredited.
Fire the lot of them from the top down (Moonvees et al) and rebuild from basics.
Even Dan Rather keeps trying to become a figure of influence in “new media”. You presented forged letters as an October Surprise in a presidential election, dude. You are a crumb, a faker, a liar, a fraud. You abused the airwaves and refuse to apologize claiming “fake but ACCURATE!”
