I opined at the time that I didn’t doubt their sales had spiked, that it wasn’t “fake news”, but also said that it wouldn’t be sustained.

Leftists don’t have any staying power. They bought stuff at Dick’s to support the move, but once that initial purchase was done, they likely never went back. They did their SJW part.

But Conservatives remember. Even longtime customers, even “faithful” customers who were conservatives resolved to never go back, and didn’t. In summary, they gained a few short term customers, and lost far more long term customers.

I have had my money in Bank of America or banks acquired by them for over 40 years. When Bank of America said it was going to stop providing financing to gun manufacturers, that was it for me. I have passed a lot of money through their hands, but no longer. I wrote a letter to the CEO of Bank of America, and my wife and I have been laying the groundwork since April to leave them behind. We had a lot of loose ends, but just completed our direct deposit change to our new bank this month, and plan to have everything moved out in another month or two.

My wife does not feel as strongly about this as I do, but...she saw how important it was to me. I sent the letter, not an abusive one, but a well written and thought out one asking them to reconsider, and I got a form letter back talking about how important it was to address gun violence. I made the decision to leave then. They have since continued business as usual without any comment, and lent money to the now bankrupt Remington, but for me, it is too late.

This was not a minor move. We had a lot invested in that bank. But no more.

Bunch of SJW weenies, they can go pound sand. They join Ben and Jerry’s, JC Penney, Target, General Mills, Coca Cola, Dicks, and a number of other companies who won’t get a cent from me.

I am not into mandating boycotts, I believe people need to make those decisions on their own, and that is their choice...it is none of my business...I won’t judge others on their choice. But I make choices where I can control them.

Bank of America probably won’t miss my money, they are that big. But I sure won’t miss them.

I think the same way about such things.

I don’t care what others choose to do, but I will choose whom I do business with. If a company goes too far, then no more.

It’s not about trying to put them out of business, that is beyond my reach. It is simply I set the standards for myself, and they will be adhered to.

Such as the NFL for instance. I’m done. Others can watch or return to watching or going, I don’t care, but I am done.

“I sent the letter, not an abusive one, but a well written and thought out one asking them to reconsider...”

Don’t waste your time...democrats can’t be reasoned with.
