I’ve been in the industry more than 30 years, Huawei Optix 6800 OTN DWDM systems are used as internet backbone transport (Gig, 10Gig, 40Gig, 100Gig) for several companies, supplying service to government agencies to include the DOD. Very sensitive connections to be entrusting to Chicom gear, the sooner they get rid of it the better. Most folks are only aware of the phone hardware made by Huawei, most are not aware of the other gear that’s been used all over the country for years and years. I’d be more concerned with that
