This presupposes of course that we believe in the concept of RIGHT and WRONG, that there is an absolute standard by which we determine what’s right and what’s wrong. There used to be a time when this standard was defined by the Bible — The Judaeo-Christian worldview.
Unfortunately, with our postmodernistic educational system where “right” and “wrong” are individually determined, I’m not sure if our future American citizens even believe in that concept.
Many believe that right and wrong are matters of preference, that one man’s meat is another man’s poison, that one man’s terrorist is another’s freedom fighter.
This does not bode well for the future.
