I recall a lot of suspicion about the pick on the conservative side, assenting to it almost entirely out of trust for Trump. There was no grassroots call for Sessions to be the pick, that’s absolutely certain.

They coame from here. Since FR search literally doesnt work that well, you have to use Google, and even then just getting a link to an old thread from back then is difficult.

I actually preferred Rudy Giuliani over Sessions.
