From what I have seen of the law written in your state, doing that would make you a felon. Simply owning those 15-round magazines...sitting empty on a shelf in your basement...makes you a felon. Penalties include a mandatory and non-negotiable prison sentence for possession of a magazine greater than 10 rounds. Be very careful.
