To: Snickering Hound

I like how “House Hunters - International” has Americans who go abroad to pay $1,700-$2,500 for an apartment or rent a house and they “hope to get a job” while they’re there.

Of course, they most usually want to be near the bars and the night life.

Guess it’s all fun as long as the money lasts.

Typically if you rent an apartment in Europe it comes unfurnished.

Meaning you have to supply your own fridge, stove/oven etc. in addition to furniture.

The apartment is essentially a shell
