This is a mixed protest.

It started over the gas tax, but now includes a wide variety of groups, from FREXIT supporters to ANTIFA pro-communists.

Many are similar to what we saw in Sweden where the citizens want social programs only for citizens, not diluted to pay for the migrants.

Some want a more democratic and capitalistic system, but they are a very small minority.

This is not “anti-Macron” as the title says....it is anti-everything and pro-anarchy. This is how despots get to power, by rising up on the backs of diverse agendas to lead everyone to stability.

France is well known for really large protests.....this isn't the first time, and when they do it they do it big....

When they were blocked near the palace etc. a group went out to the highway to shut it down...police had not expected that
