Sen. Marco Rubio warned President Trump on Sunday that it would be a bad idea to pardon Paul Manafort.
During an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Rubio, R-Fla., said it would be a mistake for Trump to issue a pardon for his former campaign chairman after Special Counsel Robert Mueller accused Manafort of lying about his contacts with administration officials in 2018 and at least four other details related to the investigation into Russian election meddling during the 2016 campaign.
“I haven’t heard that the White House is thinking about doing it,” Rubio said. “I advise strongly against it. It would be terrible mistake."
Rubio added: “I don’t believe any pardon should be used in these cases. It doesn’t pass the smell test.”

Only real crime Manafort committed was tax evasion but its a common practice among the rich.
All Mueller and his 17 Angry Democrats had was class envy.

Let’s be honest: if Manafort wasn’t close to Trump at one point, would he ever have been indicted? We all know the answer.
Tax evasion doesn’t pass the smell test.

The laws aren’t whatever Bob Mueller says they are.
The fact that Mueller doesn’t like the way structured tax shelters work is his problem. He can go lobby Congress to change them instead of just making it up as he goes.
That proves Rubio is part of the coup, slow motion coup or fast coup...still coup.
I’m surprised Marco took it out of his mouth long enough to say anything.
Manafort was it in solitary confinement. That is torture by Democrat standards. Since the further claim that torture doesn’t work, any confession by Manafort was illegally coerced and should not be allowed in court.
I believe that Mueller’s attempt to void his plea deal with Manafort is because he has nothing else to squeeze Manafort with to get him to lie about Trump for him. Without that second trial hanging over Manafort’s head, Mueller has nothing to pressure Manafort with. There are no more indicted Trump-related individuals for Mueller to make plea deals with. It’s my thinking that Mueller has deliberately drummed up some reasons to void his deal with Manafort, in order to squeeze him, hoping to get him to lie about Trump.
Our choice is simple.
It's us or them.
