Was in local government for 10 years. Conservatives never showed up for schoolboard, village or county board meetings. Bunch of lazy, no-good, Mammon-worshipping frauds.
If I needed to get anything done, I had to appeal to local businesses, veterans and patriots.
Maybe you’re confusing conservatives with republicans. Or maybe they were out working their 2nd or 3rd job, so they wouldn’t have to ask for government assistance. You’re using a mighty broad brush, there.
