Egad! That just sounds cold and nasty. Hope you don’t have to be out in it for anything. Maybe whatever it is will wait for the warm-up.

You have had a lot of rain/moisture, though, which is a good thing for the coming year. Wish we’d get some more here. I just don’t want any spring sandstorms. Blech!

Good evening, Pro...is it still cold?

We are supposed to get several inches of snow over the next few days and it is supposed to stay below freezing for at least a week.

Dang, it sure would be nice if all those folks could get their acts together so you could do your job without constantly having to deal with corrections. Sounds like they really screwed up this time. I wish you luck!!!

Yeah, it’s ugly out there. The one good thing is there’s no wind.
I made a store run this afternoon so there’s no reason to go anywhere tonight. It’ll be well above freezing by the time I wake up tomorrow but I don’t need to go anywhere til Wed. We’ll be in the low 50s then. Yay!

We’ve been lucky on the “wet” so far this month. 3.5 inches so far. Been a good year overall so the water table should be nice and high. A good head start on next year since who knows if it will be a dry one? We’re about due for it.

It’s not been this bad for a while. Paid at the wrong rate, forgot hours, and on and on.

I will need the luck. LOL!

It sounds the worst you’ve mentioned in a long time. The “12 more hours at work might get me part way caught up” was the giveaway. No excuse for any of it.
Retirement probably sounds REAL good right now. :-)

I figured she was either really beat or really busy since she didn’t stay after posting. She’s probably dreaming of retirement as much as you are. LOL

Gosh, I thought you had a “dry one” last year. Sure don’t need for it to get worse! It’s nasty now, but it’ll help later.

Good that you can wait till Wed. to do any more running. Right now it’s 36 here, but calm winds and I saw the beautiful thumbnail moon earlier.

No, we had a pretty wet one last year - - 63 inches. The year before was a little drier but not all that bad at 52 inches. We’ve had worse and aren’t in any hurry for another dry hit.

Tomorrow won’t be too bad, though it’ll be cloudy. It would have been nice if I could have waited until then to head to the store but da kittehs needed another bag of dry food today. It was bearable, at least, since there wasn’t any wind.

It’s 28 here at the moment and I haven’t stepped outside since I got home from the store. The clouds were just starting to break up to the west so I assume it’s a bit clear now. It’s supposed to be but will cloud up again tomorrow. *sigh*

SAFB! Remember well, as a military brat living there from summer 1966 to winter 1970 on Childress Street. Who could ever forget the youth center, watching 4th of July fireworks, and Girl Scouts, where while earning my Aviation badge, the seed of desire was planted to one day try skydiving.

Then there was my TV Guide route through our base-housing neighborhood. I had a route that grew to about 50-60 customers to whom I delivered the new guide each week for 15¢ a copy. I made 4¢ profit on each one. I was thrilled when a customer would give me a quarter and tell me to keep the change.

Ah...that was so back in the good ol’ days!
