Indeed, I’m champing at the bit to get back on it. the crate of WWI uniforms is what I’m dyin’ to get my hands on.

It’s about the same tonight as it was last night here. The clouds haven’t gotten here yet and what little heat we had is gone. In the 20s again. But we’re supposed to have a nice rebound tomorrow and reach the mid 50s by afternoon.

I have a feeling you’ll have company again tonight. His lurking at the foot of the bed is a pretty good clue. LOL

It isn’t just the millennials who screw up. Many are those who have recently moved here from up north and don’t seem to understand that our roads ice up. They’re used to getting snow that has at least a little traction and our snow isn’t like that. They find out quickly why our schools close when we get an inch or two of snow. The main roads will get some brine put down but all other roads are ignored. No one seems to buy chains any more so cars go off the road. More than one has gone off into our fields out front.

It rarely lasts long, though, so I just make sure there’s enough on hand for us and the cats until things warm up enough to melt the ice and just wait it out.

If the wind isn’t howling, the 20s won’t seem to bad unless you have to be out in it for an extended period. Ellie will keep you warm tonight, and Peaches has moved from the foot of the bed to being against my leg. My personal warm spot. LOL!

The wind isn’t howling, fortunately, but it’s still cold enough I’m happy to stay inside. LOL

Ellie just might be left out of the room tonight. I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in a while and I’m feeling it big time. She’ll just have to deal with being out here without “Mommy” to protect her.

Nope, Peaches isn’t going anywhere tonight. LOL! It’s pretty much gone from being a hint to a statement.

Yeah....staying in is a good idea. Whatever needs to be done can wait till it’s a bit warmer, I reckon.

How’d your day go? Did Gizmo give you a run for the money at the lake? Have “fun” at the dentist’s office? eek!

Everything checked out OK at the dentist. My next visit is in June. Gizmo and I had fun out at Waurika Lake yesterday. We plan on doing Wichita Ridge tomorrow.

They are forecasting 30-40 with gusts to 55 Thursday. There's a High Wind Watch Thursday for the counties just to our East. We may end up with isolated power outages. We'll see what happens.

Ellie will be fine. The others don’t pick on her but she hasn’t gotten that into her thick lil skull. It won’t be the first time she’s been left out of the room.

Yep, sounds like you’re stuck with him tonight. Too bad he wouldn’t follow Ginger when she went out.

Staying in is the best way to go. Keeps the cars out of the body shop and us out of the hospital. :-)

Glad you got the all-clear from the dentist. That’s ALWAYS good news.

Hmmmm, sounds like some extra time out with Gizmo today is in order. Those winds Thursday are going to be a bit rough. I hope power outages don’t occur.

Don’t recall anything said about our forecast including strong winds this weekend so maybe that mess isn’t moving this far. Or else, our weather folks just haven’t said anything yet.
