The annual Christmas-season gathering was a significant perk for those covering the White House, as well as other Washington reporters, anchors and commentators, and New York media executives would regularly fly in for the occasion. At its peak, the invitation-only soirees grew so large that there were two back-to-back events, one for broadcast outlets and one for print organizations.
Journalists who attended the events, which featured a catered buffet of lamb chops, crab claws and elaborate desserts, got to roam the decorated mansion with a spouse or other family member, a friend or a colleague, adding to the invitation's allure.

I have to laugh at these made-up, so-called “African” names...the LaShawn’s, Keshawn’s, and all the others.
I worked in Africa for over two years and have traveled there several times and the names I hear and know are, Robert, George, James...like real names.
In all the times I have been to Africa, I never heard of the dumb “African” names used in our country...stooopid!!
Any study of American history cannot think that our elections have EVER been clean. Voter fraud has been part of the system for centuries and not on a small scale.

Sharpton, when told that the free White House press party was cancelled, reacted with shock, saying, “What, a free, all you can eat dinner and I wasn’t invited? That’s racist, freeloaderaphobia, and just downright not Christian”.

He should gift them each an autographed MAGA hat. They would hate it but they would feel compelled to hang onto it for historical and ego significance.
I was listening to Dan Bongino who has been to a few of these White House Christmas Parties, and he said the hypocrisy was unsettling. These same people who would eviscerate him in the most rude and uncouth manner would stand next to the President like grinning pumpkins for a picture.
Ugh. I hope he ends it permanently.
